I believe the movie was a classic comedy and had me laughing the whole way through. The story was about a family who originally came together to celebrate their parent’s anniversary but end up coming together for an untimely death. The story line wasn’t too predictable as there were a lot of twists to the movie especially when we find out who dies. It also tells a story that cheating is never good and could get ugly. Starting off with the cop scene and then onwards to the hotel and the funeral at the end.
Now at first, I didn’t think I would like the movie because it started slow, but eventually it got funnier and was able to enjoy it. Really wish it had a better beginning to it as there was not a lot of action going on. The scene with the cop is what got the movie started, by far my favorite scene next to when they went to the funeral and the casket started moving with the body inside. Tyler Perry is one of my favorite movie actors and I have seen most of the other Madea movie’s that have come out. He’s is the main reason I went to see the movie. I enjoyed Tyler Perry’s ability to act out different characters in the movie. In this one he played the main character Madea, Brian, Joe and Heathrow. I didn’t realize how many characters he played until after I saw the movie. I loved it when he made his voice drop to make scenes ten times better. I also loved the actor Patrice Lovely who played Aunt Hattie.
Movie Quality: 5/10
The print is presented in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 with a 1:78:1 aspect ratio. Colors are vivid throughout the presentation. Black levels aren’t as deep. Flesh tones are accurate and natural looking. Details are also excellent. The print is pristine from any issues.
Print Quality: 9/10
The audio is presented in a DTS-HD MA l0ssless 7.1 mix. For a film of this nature, the audio is very engaging in the soundfield. The rears actually get a nice amount of usage with the soundtrack. Dialogue through the center channel is very clean and crisp. The mix is well balanced between the dialogue and soundfield.
