In my opinion this is a great show. Everything need development, therefore how the characters evolve throughout the series is completely understandable. For instance Raj’s character is depicted as a hopeless guy who manage to tackle his biggest obstacle and finally become who he always wanted to be, just like we do in real life. I’m pretty sure that after a few season his silence would’ve become a topic of arguments between people complaining about a lack of innovation and even stating that the show is monotone. The writing this season improved dramatically over the last two seasons — I’m back to laughing out loud (most episodes). So nice to see the group has found its rhythm again.
Movie Quality: 9/10
The print is presented in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 with a 1:77:1 aspect ratio. If this is a show that you have been watching on network television and on Blu-ray with each seasons release, you will not be disappointed. The print looks very good throughout without any apparent issues. Colors saturation is a tad bit on the stronger side. The detailed scenes stand out very well. Blacks are deep. I found the print to be crystal clear with no artifacts or print damage. The show looks great with the appropriate lighting considering the interior scenes of the show and at times some of darker looking scenes during some of the episodes.
Print Quality: 9/10
The audio is presented in a DTS-HD MA lossless 5.1 mix. This is not an audio mix that you will go in expecting huge things from the soundfield as it is primarily a dialogue driven film. What you do get is conversations throughout the soundfield filling the stage. Dialogue was well balanced through the center channel. Don’t go in expecting anything extravagant with the audio mix as at times it does come off rather flat.

This season was very funny as expected, but had great character development as well. This show is brilliantly written, has a fantastic cast, keeps you laughing from start to finish of every episodes, and shows that even particle physics can be funny.
