Extreme Movie Unrated DVD Review
Sure, all teens are obsessed with sex – but how awkward can things really get? The soon-to-be released sketch comedy, EXTREME MOVIE, available on unrated DVD February 24th under the Dimension Extreme label from Genius Products and The Weinstein Company, attempts to find out. Starring Michael Cera, Frankie Muniz, Ryan Pinkston, Jamie Kennedy and Matthew Lillard, the adventures of this crazy crew will easily help you relive those awkward and uncomfortable adolescent years. And, to help you prepare for this laugh fest, two hysterical interactive features have been created for its debut just in time for this holiday weekend.
Since Valentine’s Day is about being honest about your love, you will need just the right thing to help you express your thoughts to that special someone or to the unforgettable one night stand you had two years ago. Now, with STD e-cards, you can rekindle the fire by reminding your guy or gal of those moments of passion you shared… and the after effects that came with it. Go to http://std-e-cards.com/ and choose from nine unique and thoughtful cards that will really scream “I Love You” (or “Surprise!”) and then send away. From herpes to crabs, there’s nothing like a message straight from the heart to make this V-Day a memorable one.
This comedy follows a group of teenagers that get into a series of sexual misadventures, with both the joys and embarrassments of teen sex, but mostly the embarrassments. Frankie Muniz stars as a teen that loses his virginity with his girlfriend, only to find she wants to take things much, much further. Ryan Pinkston plays an average high school student who falls for the cutest girl in his class but finds he’s looking for love in all the wrong places. Jamie Kennedy plays a young man facing the aftermath of a crazy night of partying, and Michael Cera’s character meets a girl online and goes to her home for a night of sex games, only to realize that he went to the wrong apartment.
This film can be disgusting to some, offensive to others, and hilarious at the same time. The film tries to be way over the top. You will see a mix of skits including Abe Lincoln having anal sex, a Blue Balls Puppet helping a teen boy get off, some gross fart humor, bondage scenes with little people, sheep and leather, porn filming mixed with teen musicals, a sex ed class teacher that hands out 30 sex toys and partners up kids to explore sex with each other, and – well – you might get the point.

The Final Word
I think at this point I am tapped out by all these parody films as they get worse by each release. There were a lot of funny moments, but also there were times where I was wondering how could yet another one of these films be released. This was originally supposed to go to theaters, but due to poor responses from screenings, it went straight to home video. I can recommend this film as one for fans of parody films, after that I wouldn’t waste precious time on this film.
